This class is for owners of dogs who are older than 6 months of age.

Obedience is not boring! Beginning obedience is for everyone - this class is lively & fun!

We will be working on creating a strong foundation for beginning level skills - sit/down/come {short and long distance}/ wait as well as more complex tasks of working past distractions and greeting people politely.

Like all classes at Positive Rewards, the emphasis is on training positively - creating a focused dog who willingly wants to work with you.

What do I need for class?
*copy of your dog’s current vaccination record
* flat collar for your dog
* 6 foot leash
* 20 foot long line
* bait bag or fanny pack
* 1 cup of small food bits your dog will work for( can be ½ of his/her kibble meal mixed with more interesting items
* ½ c small pieces of steak or other meat ( not deli meat, limit hot dogs to ½ hotdog / 25 lbs dog weight/class )
*two high value, throwable toys
*small whistle
* two clean up bags for your dog
